Darryl Strawberry is described as a legend by many who have been dazzled by the dynamics of his game, the power he possessed at the plate and the story of redemption that continues to bring hope to so many lives. He has earned the legendary nicknames and phrases of one of the most feared homerun hitters in the game of baseball, Straw’s Sweet Swing, Strawberry’s Field Forever and The Legendary Straw Man!
Over the course of his career Darryl collected 4 World Series titles including the ‘86 New York Mets, 8 Time National League All-Star, National League Homerun Leader in '88, 1983 National League Rookie of the Year, ten 20 Home Run Seasons, three 30 Home Run Seasons and a Hall of Fame Nomination in 2004.

After years of battling addictions, jail-time, alcoholism, emotional wounds, divorces, separation from children, unforgiveness, bitterness, and other life controlling issues, Darryl and his wife Tracy finally surrendered to a life changing transformation through the power of God and the process of change. They are now devoted to helping others do the same. Darryl and Tracy travel the world delivering a message of hope. They have written multiple books and authored recovery curriculum and other helpful resources. Darryl’s books, Straw, Finding My Way and Turn Your Season Around have helped many find the hope that he has found.
